John Howard

Owner, Chief Engineer & Producer

John Howard is the Founder and Chief Engineer of Oakwood Recording Studios. His genuine care for clients shows in every interaction he will have with you. He has been a musician and sound engineer his entire life and started Oakwood Recording Studios in his attic in 2001. Combine his attention to detail with his lifetime submersion in the world of sound, and you have the perfect recipe for a studio's chief engineer.

Craig Gatlin

Lead Engineer

Craig Gatlin tackles all kinds of projects at Oakwood. He worked directly with John when they built Oakwood Recording Studios by hand nearly ten years ago. Craig brings a wealth of experience, having owned his own recording studio for several years before joining forces with John two years ago.

Gabe Gibitz

Marketing Director

Gabe Gibitz is a multi-disciplinary creative. He has been working in marketing for nearly seven years, and has a passion for music. He also has recorded three albums – two of which have been recorded right here at Oakwood. He loves writing songs, producing his own music and spending time with his family.
